Shen Kai is a filmmaker, model and actor from Maui, Hawai‘i. He grew up on an island surfing, climbing trees, training martial arts, and creating art.

Coming from a background of actors, Shen had an interest in acting from a very young age and got involved doing plays and acting classes very early on. He most recently studied for two years at The Folster Studio in New York City.

Being a lover of action sports, a tennis player and a yogi, Shen is always game to do his own stunts and has a history of booking jobs that require him to do anything from skating, surfing, cliff jumping and doing flips, free-diving, and more.

Blending his filmmaking with his modeling, Shen has become a one-stop-shop for brands, models and music artists — filming and directing fashion campaigns, branded social media content, and music videos.

Shen is of Argentinian, Italian and English descent and is multilingual in English, Spanish and some Italian.
